I’m Alex, a portrait photographer based in Barcelona. My photography style is personal and observant: I look for real expressions, natural light and the small moments that happen between poses. I want the session to feel like time well spent, not a performance.
A glance between two people. A laugh halfway through a sentence. An expression that disappears as soon as someone asks you to smile.
Those are the moments I'm looking for.
I've been photographing people for 4 years. What keeps me interested is how a photograph can reveal an expression or a side of someone they rarely get to see themselves.

I photograph people outdoors in Barcelona, using the city's streets, architecture and natural light as the setting. Before we meet, we can discuss the kind of photographs you like and choose a location that suits your plans. During the session, I offer simple direction when you need it, while leaving room for spontaneous moments.
